Al Continuous caster using ceramic launder
Launder is a channel, normally internally lined, used for the transfer of molten aluminum. Launder is a good insulator,
non-wetted by the molten aluminum, exhibit excellent mechanical strength including resistance to metal wear and
physical damage. The launder is made of high strength heat insulation castable with good strength due to high
temperature drying.
